The Centre de Formació i Innovació en Simulació "Josep Maria Martínez Carretero" (CFIS-JMMC) was born in 2016, although their professionals have more than 20 years of experience in medical simulation.

This center provides the ideal conditions to work in medical simulation environments any of the basic clinical abilities. The center's main intention is to offer excellent training conditions in order to train health professionals competently and thus reduce the medical error rate.

The CFIS-JMMC coordinates different projects with impact throughout the territory of Tarragona, such as:

Training activities in Basic Vital Support aimed at schools, town halls, and other public interest entities.
Design, development and implantation of new clinical cases and training with simulated patient instructors
Certified trainings with SBME methodologies for healthcare professionals
